A visit to Kumo Empty A visit to Kumo

Keen sat starring at the high mountains in all their glory. He had just managed to travel their peeks which proved difficult due to his small stature. Turning around, Keen peered down at the village of the clouds that seemed worn down and tired form it's past ordeals. Keen was looking forward to playing with some new people and wondered what game he would play.

"Hide n' seek...? Tag...? Lava...?"

These were all simple child games that he had once played as a child but deformed them to quench his thirst for fear. In any case, he could just go terrorize the locals and see what they would do. Keen watched as the village slowly went to sleep. Their streets grew calm as some lights turned off within the houses.

"I'm not afraid of the dark..."

The soft footsteps made their way up the path towards the mountain. Rain was tired of Kumo's people and it's pain. She remembered her fight with Lelia and how Yoshimo had decided to interfere. her secret had almost been revealed which made it dangerous for her to stay. She would leave but one day return to cleanse the village of it's sorrow.

"Only death can numb the pain."

As she walked, she came to small clearing which was a resting point for weary travelers. It overlooked the village lights but was not vacant. A small boy stood peering down at the village with a devilish smile and seemed almost to happy to be sane. As she approached, she sensed that he was dead and also alive. A feeling that she had known long ago. There had been a strange boy by the name of Kazu that had given her this sense as well. He would be about this boys height and bore the same eyes.

No doubt this was that boy, yet he bore a different face and body. She watched him closely as she made her way past him.

While Keen and Rain were making their signature quotes aloud and being their general selves, the bunshin that Yoshimo dispatched a while a go was quickly making his way over the Ninja World. He, as a clone was busy trying to full Yoshimo's wishes and be there on time. Roof top to roof top, he was going un-noticed in the black cloak that he was wearing, quickly making his way through the land.

Quickly making his way though the village, he spotted the two, and quickly landed, causing dust to stir up and an "ahh!" from the women near by. He landed near perfectly, with both of his knees bent and one on the ground. The cloak he was wearing covered the ground a bit, as it was very long. Yoshimo smiled, but kept his head forward.

"Well now, if it isn't Rain and Keen. I've been watching you two, and I've got to give it to you that both of you are pretty fucked up. Just the type of shit we need in the Akatsuki..."

Yoshimo stood up to both legs and quickly jumped up onto the next roof. He turned around to the both of them. In his previous spot there were two blank cards, and one explosive note right over them.

"Those cards are loaded with chakra, that will direct you to Kiri if you insert your chakra into them. Without that card you cant get into the hide out. But lets see if you two can jump fast enough..."

Yoshimo turned around and kept going about his business as the note began to sizzle and fizz signaling an explosion..

Keen turned around to see Rain and Yoshimo standing behind him. Their familiar faces made him smile as he listened to Yoshimo's words.

"Sweet a club wants me as an official member... this should be fun."

As the paper bomb fell, Keen quickly opened his mouth as a thin black tentacle stretched out and grabbed one of the two cards. The tentacle pulled it back and into his mouth where it disappeared down his throat. As he did this, he sent some of his chakra into the card and felt it's pull towards Kiri's direction. Keen found this amusing and quickly lept off the ground while expelling more tentacles to grab a tree further ahead f him and pull his body rapidly through the air.

Keen did not stop to see if Rain had been blown up and wished that he had. None the less, he continued using his tentacles to pull and swing his way towards the village of Kiri.

Rain watched as the bomb was set but acted quickly. Rain quickly made a hand sign and secreted her metal substance out of every pore on her body. Some of the liquid stretched out and grabbed the blank card while the rest smothered the paper bomb. With the metal substance encasing the bomb, only a small thud was heard when it went off. Without oxygen to fuel the fire, and the immense weight of the metal, the bomb had been suppressed.

The liquid returned to her body with the card in her hand. Why Kiri? Why make a base in Kiri?

An identicle Rain stepped out from behind a tree and made it's way towards Kiri as the first one disintegrated into a pile of ash. She did not know what they would find when the got there, but looked forward to at least seeing Yoshimo again and might get a chance to fight him again.
