Rest Well Earned Empty Rest Well Earned

Munashii finally made it back to his small apartment. He looked around at the place. The walls were a dull grey colour, with no pictures or artwork adorning them. He had a small bedside table with a light, a clock and a sword rack, upon which he now placed his sword. What little there was in the place was ordered and neat, and no dirt was in sight (with the exception of the mud had brought in before he removed his boots).

Being careful of his wounded back, he stripped off his drenched clothes and put on another set of the same clothes, of which he had a few of. He didn't bother putting his cloak on yet since he was indoors. Looking in his small wall mirror, the wounds were largely superficial and would heal fine on there own. He went to his door and locked it.

The rain was still pounding outside, creating a relaxing rythm on his windows. Sitting on his bed, he crossed his legs and relaxed his mind and allowed himself to drift, focusing entirely on the repetitive rythm of the rain rushing down. His senses balloned outwards, and suddenly he could hear each individual raindrop as it hit the window. He could smell the milk in his fridge, and could tell he would have to get some more tommorrow since it had gone off.

That snapped him out of his meditation. He got up, groaning as his muscles protested. He walked to fridge and as he was pulling the milk out, his muscle spasmed, causing him to drop the carton. Cursing, he jumped out of the way of the falling object, but noticed that it was still falling. He looked at the clock and realised his Keiji must have activated because it was taking the second hand at least four seconds to move. Amazed, he grabbed the milk and put it back, deactivating his Kekkei Genkai.

Feeling rather pleased with himself, he laid down on his bed. He wondered what training or mission he would go through tommorrow. Then his head hit the pillow and sleep drove all thought from his mind.
