Leaving me with Tontori, im pretty sure, then this last character for a long, long time. Promise. Thought went into this, trust me.

Description: Whatever the origin of their terrible powers, the chakra that courses through the veins of the unlucky people born with this carries a death-sentence to all living. As though infected by death, the chakra attacks and dissolves living molecules upon contact with them. As an opposition to normal chakra as life-energy, this death-chakra disintegrates everything, leaving only wastelands.
People who have escaped a fight with someone with this bloodline with their life intact are often scared where the death-chakra has eaten away at their armor, skin or flesh, leaving horrible wounds that are difficult to heal, as the residues of the death-chakra keeps eating away at everything living nearby until sealed or cleansed. Even small, superficial wounds can become life-threatening as the death-chakra spreads like poison.
As with poison, the infected clothes or tissue needs to be removed - cutting away the skin surrounding wounds made by death-chakra will effectively allow it to die out. Another solution is to have a shinobi with sufficient medical skills remove the fragments of the death-chakra. By applying sufficient amounts of regenerating chakra (the same level as the person who used the death-chakra) - keeping it from dissolving cells - it is possible to 'dry' out the death-chakra, by keeping it from nourishment. For non-medical shinobi, the same technique applies with their own chakra, but it requires all of the infected persons chakra-energy to be focused on the infected area, effectively. In the case of massive infections, the only thing that will stop the death-chakra is the Itonami Hogosha Seal, that all people with the bloodline are taught - even if they are not all skilled enough to apply it.
Areas where skilled members have fought are left as charred and dried out desserts, all life drained from the ground, anything living dissolved.
These people are not able to use any elements. Neither is it possible to mix their death-chakra with an element, creating attacks that use any elemental affinity as the energy within them simply consumes any other kind of chakra. This also makes it difficult to counter attacks made by the bloodline, as the only effective weapon is for the opponent’s pure chakra to overcome the amount of death-chakra.
When encountering elemental-attacks, the death-chakra will be slowed down, absorbing the chakra of the jutsu.

Chakra in form of jutsu seperated from the Shinobi will effectively 'cancel out' with the death-chakra, leaving behind the element-part of the jutsu. Fire-attacks will burn out where they meet the death-chakra, wind dissipates, earth becomes immovable again, water drizzles to the ground – the inorganic energy of lightning is the only exception, as the death-chakra doesn’t affect it. Without the chakra to control its movements, however, it may behave in any manner.
When it comes to combined elemental attacks, using death-chakra becomes more of a gamble, as most of the attacks are on a larger scale, leaving more of the original elements behind. Sucking the chakra out of a magma-wall over ones head doesn’t seem a wise move.
Encountering puppet-jutsu, or any other jutsu that requires the use of chakra-strings, will allow a Shinigami the opportunity to follow the chakra-string with their death-chakra over a length of:
Genin: 5-8m
Chuunin: 8-12m
Jounin: 12-20m

Training

The children who survive the initial shock of birth face a life filled with struggle. Sleeping while in pain is one of the first things that they need to learn, shutting off the parts of them that are aware of the constant fight between the Seal that keeps them alive and their own chakra.
Keeping the death-chakra under enough control to create attacks is both difficult and risky. Although the Seal protects them from being as vulnerable to the energy as others, having an attack backfiring on them would be excruciatingly painful.


Genin: Learning to draw upon the death-chakra is painful and limited at this rank. The natural instinct is to shy away from the pain of releasing the death-chakra through chakra-points. As a result, only minimal amounts can be used, having the same effect as a mild acid-burn. Although the nature of the death-chakra – spread and disintegrate – can’t be denied, these weak amounts will burn out by themselves within 5 minutes. The wounds remain, but the ‘infection’ eats itself up. Wounds larger than the size of a palm are very rare.
Chuunin: To reach this stage, control of the pain that accompanies the use of the death-chakra is necessary. Using too much death-chakra will still have a serious impact on the Person’s body, despite the Seal, if the physical and mental boundaries are crossed. This stage can be compared to a human that feels no pain, breaking bones and continuing to walk because they don’t register the pain. Eventually, the pain of the death-chakra will overwhelm a Chuunin, effectively stopping them before they kill themselves.
As with Genin-level, the first effect is equal to a mild acid-burn, but at Chuunin-rank, the death-chakra disintegrates through the skin in a matter of minutes, continuing to the first layer of flesh. Slowing down in speed, the death-chakra will continue to spread about 8 minutes throughout the body. If it reaches a major bloodstream, the speed of the disintegration increases, as the death-chakra is carried through the body.
Jounin: At Jounin, tremendous amounts of self-restraint are necessary when using the death-chakra. It is easy at this level – due to the numbness towards pain – to overuse the death-chakra. Doing so will increase the deterioration of the Person’s own body, despite the Seal. This is the part of the training where the self-restraint from Chuunin-level is life or death, and using the death-chakra requires constant attention to one self. Here, the shinobi is so far beyond the pain, that the body and mind will not shut down as self-protection. Some Jounin have been known to kill themselves – along with their opponent when their death releases the Seal, flooding the area with death-chakra.
Disintegrating skin and moving on to flesh within the first minute, this level of death-chakra is extremely painful. Stronger in intensity, the death-chakra is able to seek fuel within the chakra of attacks or in the infected. Wounds spread at an alarming rate and continues to spread until Sealed or removed. If the death-chakra reaches the heart, the Seal or a very good medical Shinobi is needed to ensure survival.
S-rank: Being struck by S-rank death-chakra carries a high chance of instant incapacitation as the speed of disintegration causes the body to go into shock. Dissolving skin on impact, the death-chakra can devour a person completely within minutes. A person having been exposed to death-chakra at this level - without the prior training and adjustments of the bloodline - will most likely slide into a coma, due to the shock.
Once released, this stage of death-chakra can be compared to Amaterasu, the unstoppable flames. At this stage, the death-chakra is difficult to stop, even for the person using it, but there is not much knowledge as no member has yet to reach this rank. The pure physical and mental pressure on the body that is needed to release such death-chakra is – even for the most powerful member – lethal.

Besides the effects on the body, it also takes effect on the mind. All members are to put it lightly insane, with the disire to use the death chakra, making them want to cause destruction and death. Although members who has great self-restraint may have the mental capacity to be normal. Allowing them to have more control as they grow, provign that self-restraint is very helpful
