Izoto Clan

History: The Izoto clan has been around just as long as the Uchiha and Senju Clans. Though they were not as strong as the Uchiha or Senju, they were well versed in battle and were also known as a feared clan. They lived in the shadows during battle, usually only fighting whenever needed, and not for personal or clan-based gain. All Izoto members had a low intelligence, and most of them couldn't read. The abilites to manipulate they're shadow is bloodline based, meaning that it takes less chakra for them to use, and they don't necessarily have to use handsigns to activate their shadows. Throughout the years of battle, the Izoto Clan wasn't smart enough to be independent on their own, so they followed the Senju Clan to Konoha and began to settle down. During that time, the Izoto clan came across another clan simular to their own. The Nara clan. This clan held weaker abilites to manipulate their shadows, but they also possessed superior intellect, which allowed them to be well-versed in team battles. The Nara clan quickly took advantage of this. They began to rule over the Izoto clan, and they even stole the Izoto clans symbol, (seen here), and revised it to their own. The Izoto clan wasn't smart enough to realize what was going on so they fell into the clutches of the Nara. The Izoto clan lived in secret bondage for several years, all the way untill Sandaime Hokage.
When Sandaime Hokage was born, so was Yoshimo's grandfather. Yoshimo's grandfather was born a genius, and was smarter than most Nara clan members. He knew the potential that he had, and he knew that he himself could stop any Nara clans member in a fight, or outmatched in battle. Yoshimo's grandfather sought out more intelligence, even asking the Third could he assist Uchiha Clan members in battle, instead of working with the Nara Clans members. He was polietly rejected several times due to the Uchiha Coup that was being planned. Yoshimo's grandfather gave up all hope, even choosing not to marry because the rest of his clan were too dumb to understand what was going on. He grew older, but his abilites still rivaled that of the legendary Chiyo from Sunagakure, who was still old but yet able to fight better than most Jounin. Yoshimo's grandfather lived untill the rise of Minato Namikaze, who he had personally met with for plans to get the Izoto clan out of bondage.
Minato Namikaze and Yoshimo's grandfather were great friends, and they were able to work out a settlement against the Nara clan. Minato Namikaze promised freedom for the clan if he were to get into office, so Yoshimo's grandfather worked beside him and begged the Elders and the Third Hokage for him to become the Fourth. Though his begging wouldn't change or influence the Elders opinions Minato got in. Minato became the Fourth Hokage and lifted the Nara control over the Izoto. The Izoto were now free, and allowed to fight for Konoha again. In joy Yoshimo's grandfather celebrated, but little did he know about what really happened.
Minato Namikaze and not been faithful to Yoshimo's grandfather, and in all truth he was lying to him from the beggining. After Danzo had managed to get rid of the Uchiha clan so quickly, and clan that seemed too powerful for Konoha would follow after. Minato allowed the Nara control to be lifted was so the Izoto clans members could go into battle and have a legitimate reason to die. Everytime they went on a mission, the Izoto clan population would decrease. This was due to the "Silent Killer" that was placed in every Izoto team. There was a ninja who would always accompany Izoto team members to heal them and such. The Izoto were too dumb to think anything of it. The "Silent Killer" would help heal the Izoto, but in all truth they were killing them. They used medical ninjutsu, to actually harm them, and poisons to single handedly wipe at least half of the Izoto out. Minato being soft in heart, didn't want the Izoto clan members to die, so he stopped the "Silent Killers".
Soon after, the Kyuubi attacked Konoha and every single ninja except the Izoto were called out to battle. While everyone was out fighting and the Izoto were left to die, Yoshimo's grandfather organized all the remaining members into his own team. They went out to fight the Kyuubi, running out to help. The Nara thought that they were mad about being left behind, so they assumed that the Izoto clan was planning a rebellion, and would aid the Kyuubi. Yoshimo's grandfather single handedly watch all of the Konoha ninja kill his clan. During this time he was the only one left and he was brought before the elders to be beheaded.
Yoshimo's grandfather had created a jutsu that would infact stop the Kyuubi, but since he was about to be beheaded, he had no choice to use it on everyone that was in the room at the time. The jutsu is ancient, and goes deep into the past of the founder and the Hyuuga clan. The founder learned the chakra network from the Hyuuga, and kept a diagram of the chakra points in a scroll. Yoshimo's grandfather managed to find the scroll and create a jutsu. This jutsu uses the memorization of chakra points and Kage Nui to lock up chakra.The member will spread his shadow out over a large area in the ground and open up a special scroll that temmporarily allows him to see chakra points. The Izoto clans member will then attach his shadow tendrils to every single chakra point in ones body. Since all the chakra points have pressure placed on them, it temporarily locks up chakra and movement, which would have been perfect for killing the Kyuubi.
Yoshimo's grandfather escaped beheading, and even managed to get back to the battle. He wa able to use his jutsu on the Kyuubi's tails and lock up the chakra at the source of the power of the Kyuubi. This left the Kyuubi temporarily chakraless, and gave Minato time to set up his Shiki Fuuin. Yoshimo's grandfather felt satisfied that he had helped save Konoha, but due to the hatred for the clan he could tell he wasn't welcome. He knew that even his best freind Minato had lied to him so he left for Iwagakure, never to return. While he was leaving tension between Iwagakure and Konoha increased and he was now running for his life. He managed to get to Iwagakure were he settled down and got married. He bore a son, who got married to another Iwagakure ninja, and his son set out on missions to stop the Fourth Hokage and his team from destroying a trade bridge. They were killed by the Fourth Hokage, but before theyre death they left Yoshimo's grandfather with a child. Yoshimo's grandfather was dedicated to teaching this child everything about the Izoto clan, because he was extremely intelligent. He knew he was the last of the clan, because he was getting old along with his wife. Yoshimo grew up and was trained by his grandfather, and even trained in the medical arts and taught how to create poisons. Yoshimo grew older and watched his grandmother die. His grandfather left him with little information of ancient history on the clan, but he died peaceful. They were out fishing on a river, where he slowly died off in his sleep. Yoshimo grew up and continued on, joining Akatsuki and living his life.
