Illidan is misunderstood being. He craves for power but not for death. He wants to prove himself to his love and one day return to claim her away from his brother. He often crys over things that have past but when someone confronts him he shows them a polite person unless they piss him off then they die.

Illidan was born as a normal person tens of thousands of years ago. He was born onto a island in the middle of the sea known as o'uzu island (before it was settled). He had nothing wrong with him and he held average abilitys. He also had a fraternal twin named Malfurion. His family was known as the Stormrage and they were known as hunters of supernatural and supposed demons. As he lived he slowly gained his abilitys.
He trained daily bringing his body and mental abilitys to top efficency. He however was supposidly at the limit in his ability only a man of 24 and he was the strongest in his clan supposidly. However his peacful additude would soon be overtaken by the first coming of demons. They were powerful beast's that would not die. Illidan and his clan fought these beast's but they could not do much.
Illidan's lust for power ensued as he was shown to be somewhat weaker than these demons. After a while he changed sides. The leader of the demons saw Illidan's potential and thought he could trust illidan. He placed a seal upon illidan that increased his powers. Then he burned illidan's eyes out and infused them with something better.
Illidan however was not loyal to this man. He used his gift and killed him and his demon horde alongside his clan yet again. However after the demon's were destroyed illidan was still known as a traitor. His brother malfurion was left to sentence him. Malfurion could not put his brother to death so he sentenced his brother to prison for eternity. His brother malfurion however was placed into hybernation and aired as a hero.
Illidan was in that prison for 10,000 years surviving using the darkness as his life force. He had become a beast of wich he was supposidly had been. However his lucky day came when a woman released him from his prison. He was supposidly going to be a powerful ally againts the now second wave of demons.
He was used as a weapon of war but his brother malfurion who was awoken said this would end badly for the clan. He was correct as illidan soon met with a dark knight who told him of a artifact of ancient porpotions the demons were using to become stronger. Illidan hatched his plan with this information.
Illidan fought his way through hordes of demons obliterating them with ease. He wondered why they proved sucha threat and he soon arrived at the artifact. It was a skull that levitated off the earth. Illidan stood before the skull pondering in his own thoughts.
Illidan questioned if he should destroy the skull and absorb its powers. If he did he could slaughter any demon. However if he did he would be banished from his clan forevor. He chose the power his lust overtaken him he crushed the skull between his hands and absorbed its power.
His body then changed and his body grew wings as he was enveloped in a orb of shadows. His body turned black his seal now turned green. He cackled his voice taken deeper as he said he was now complete. His power were amplified. He laughed as his brother and his love arrived upon the scene and the battle began.
Illidan was not recognised by anyone untill near the very end. He then regained control from the sudden surge of power. He returned to a normal form and was banished from the island and his clan for eternity. Illidan bargained with his brother but it inevitable failed.
He began to leave the village but just laughed meniacly as he activated his second form. He appeared at the demons citadel and he began to hack away at there numbers. In a matter of 2 days the demons had been defeated. He had crushed the leader's skull between his hand and laughed maniacly while doing it.
Illidan then honored his brothers decision and left the island forevor. He flew till he arrived at another island with inahabitance. It was a village named Kiri. The first thing he saw was death like literally the cloaked figure of death. Illidan walked to the man and pledeaded for his life to end.
The figure however refused saying something about another purpose. The figure turned out to be kyouken uchiha or well Noctis Lucis Caelum and he offered illidan the chance to join his family. Illidan was shocked at the oppurtunity. Illidan thought hard his wisdom taking over.
After a day of standing in the same spot both were stiff and illidan said yes he would. Illidan now works in Kyouken's yakuza and on his own work he looks for ancient artifacts and for a pupil to teach them how to become stronger.
