Shimpai Hoshi [Kirigakure no Sato] [Gennin]
Name: Shimpai Hoshi
Age: 14
Bloodline: None [Shimpai Limit]
Rank: Gennin
Classification: [ADMIN FILLS]
Village: Kirigakure no Sato
Alignment: Good
Appearance:
Hoshi is a rarity within the Shimpai Clan. She doesn't have blue hair as the norm does. She has brown hair, usually kept up by bright orange ribbons. Her face is soft and displays a great sense of innocence, blue eyes shining on whoever sees her. She keeps with her a large silver scarf that rest neatly on her shoulders. She also fashions a large yellow overcoat and bleach-white pants. Over her white pants is a very short bleach-white skirt. She wears white snow boots, covering her long orange stockings. Underneath her overcoat is a white T-Shirt and fish net lace on her arms. Fish net lace also lines her legs underneath her pants. She has a manila pouch on the back of her waste. Her body is rather slim, and she is on the light side. She's small in comparison to other girls.
Personality:
Hoshi is very gentle and innocent in nature. It's to the point where people wonder how and why she became a ninja. She is emotionally unstable, and she is prone to crying quite often. Nothing else can describe her more than one word: "innocene". She loves all her friends to the point of near obsession. She wants nothing to happen to them, ever, and she would go to any feat to make sure they were safe. Her family is a different matter. She has a hidden distrust in her family, but she still loves them. She has learned to love and forget, so she promises herself to remain peaceful and not vengeful....
She has learned to be quite useful in battle. Her friends say that she becomes a "different person" when she fights. She throws herself into the fray and doesn't flee of her own accord. She fights until the battle is done or when it is too dangerous to proceed. She does have the sense to flee; she just hardly uses it. This has caused her to fear herself slightly, but she knows that she must do so for not only herself, but also her friends and family.
History:
Without words, without fears, without death, without tears... those of the Shimpai are a rather reclusive peoples. The Shimpai themselves live on various islands within the Water Country. Though no one accepted them as a large peoples, theirs and various others made up a grouping known as "Yukigakure Isles". For the longest time, they lived away fom the threats of the outside world. However, there were always those who lusted for the lives of shinobi and kunoichi. Most of those who comprised the "Yukigakure Isles" were very hesitant to allow the ninja ways into their lives, and for the most part, they succeeded in shutting out the outside world. Without this interfering with their lives, they could live in peace. This peace ended, though. A mass evacuation occured where a majority within the eastern part of the Water Country had to evacuate. This "Yukigakure Isles", this compilation of various cold islands and their peoples, were forced from their lands or die in the coming Storms. The "Yukigakure Isles" were nearly obliterated by the Storms. The islands had been rendered mostly uninhabitable, and they were forced from the lands they once called home. After that storm, the part of the mainland became very cold, and the newly formed Spring Country once again fell to the cold, but they remained ever peaceful. Finding a heart-felt smile, the former "Yukigakure Isles" made their new home in the current-day Yukigakure. From Yukigakure, the people spread, leaving to other areas.
Shimpai Hoshi was born on the most eastern island of the "Yukigakure Islands". Like most everyone else, her family was very tender when it came to the lives of ninjas. All through her childhood, Hoshi was warned about the way of the ninja. She was told about wars and death, even though she was a mere child. The elders were merely trying to scare them out of that hazardous and highly dangerous occupation. Hoshi grew up loving her friends and her family. She was a little different from the norm, but it was of no concequence. Brown hair instead of blue, purple, or white hair... no one cared. She grew up fearing the way of the ninja. She was taught to do so. Until, one day...
Hoshi was about 11 at this point in her life. She was walking through the snow-blanketted hills when she came across the western shore. She stared at the waves and then towards the sky where the world of pain and death were. She vecame lost in thought when she noticed a simple make-shift raft floating from that direction. She was overcome with both fear and curiosity. Her innocence and ignorance told her that they were attacking with this, so she hid behind a tree. When the small raft got to the shore, she peered around the tree to see the rafter face-down on the raft. She went over a few things, probably trying to gather her bearings, and she walked up to the person. The person was a teenage boy, about 14 or so. This peeked her curiosity, but she took a step back when she saw the Takigakure headband. She tripped over a snow-covered log and landed with a small yelp in the snow. She closed her eyes and thought about the person for a few more seconds. As she was thinking, she failed to hear small crunching in the snow. When she opened her eyes, deciding to help the man, she gave a small scream. The boy was standing over her. Immediately, he held his hand to her mouth. "Do you know where I can contact anyone...? I need to get back to my village...." Hoshi was petrified with fright. The boy pulled his hand away from her mouth and helped her up.
The boy noticed her lack of headband. So, he promised to train her in the ninja arts if she would give him food and keep his presence a secret. Hoshi agreed to this, curiosity peeking again. So, over the next year, the shinobi trained her. He revealed his name to be Hitsugi, but he also said that it was an alias, so as not to arouse any biased attacks. Hoshi learned a little Suiton Ninjutsu, but she was excellent in Taijutsu. She came back every day with food for him, and they grew to like each other. With every beginning, there must be an end.
Hoshi was training again with Hitsugi. Without warning, Hitsugi dove on top of her, literally covering her body with his own. Hoshi felt like screaming again, but Hitsugi shushed her as he looked up. He saw people coming down the hill, so he grabbed Hoshi and darted into the nearby trees. There were three people, all of whom were Hoshi's family. Hoshi waited as Hitsugi held her closely, wondering what would happen. The people came upon the raft. They nodded to one another and began to spread out. One headed right for Hoshi's location. She looked up to Hitsugi and smiled. "That's my fa-" He covered her mouth again and jumped up into the branches of the snow-covered trees. The people below were seen running around. Within minutes, they converged back on the raft. Hoshi could only watch as Hitsugi held her close to himself. Hoshi adjusted her footing and snapped a twig. Those below looked up to their exact location. And, they ran to the tree. Hitsugi grunted and bolted out of the tree, taking Hoshi with him. Hoshi was really light in his arms, and he was incredibly fast. Hoshi was first exposed to a ninja's power then. What surprised her more than his speed was her family's speed. The group of men whom she loved was going at the same, if not faster speed. They caught up and took down the shinobi carrying her. He was shoved to the ground. Hitsugi flipped over and landed on his back, still holding Hoshi. It was then that a huge siren came from the small village center. The men grabbed Hoshi and Hitsugi and ran back to the center.
Panic was setting in. Scounting had revealed that a massive storm was coming. It was then that everyone got into boats and began to go west. The storms were coming from the East. It would be a few days until the storms hit, but they needed to evacuate then. Hoshi was carried onto the boats, and Hitsugi was chained during the trip. Hoshi stayed by Hitsugi during the entire trip. Her family just stared at them, not saying a word. Eventually, the Storms passed. Within a year, Hoshi had a new home. Hoshi's family had moved to Kirigakure no Sato. Hitsugi was by her side, and she couldn't have been happier. It was then that Hitsugi was forced to go on a mission that would take place over the next few months in a foreign village. The details were top secret, so Hoshi never found out where he was going. She figured that not knowing would be for the best. In the mean time, she went to the Academy, despite her parents' wishes not to, and graduated by her 14th birthday. Hoshi knew that Hitsugi would be proud, and she waited for Hitsugi's return...
...until it was released that Hitsugi's squad was murdered by rogue ninjas.
That is where this all stands.

I'm confused about the classing system.... If you could explain it to me, then I'd be grateful.
Thanks for the approval, too.

Ah, ok... so, I'm about the middle.
AS, Gennin, Chuunin, Jounin, Saanin[not Sannin], Kage.
Do you go off that type of scale? Or, is there something y'all have added/removed?
