History:

Long ago, when the clans fought as their own, not united under a village, the Drakun Clan was not one of the weaker clans, but was never exceptionally strong, as it did have it's flaws. When the Village Hidden in the Clouds was formed, the Drakun Clan was dragged into the mix, and helped found the village, and construct it. However, the leader, Mikoto Drakun, had gone a step that many Drakun clan members wish they could to this day. Mikoto transcended races, and became, himself, a dragon, and is worshipped, along with many other powerful dragon gods. A member of the Drakun Clan, Shourei, acted as a Cloud Village messanger, because of his immense skills with his Kekkei Genkai, which allowed him to easily traverse the terrain and deliver messages quickly and effeciently. The Drakun Clan continued to prosper in the Cloud Village.

Before the Clan was brought into the Cloud Village, however, a large slice of the clan did not enjoy becoming part of the village, and grew too concerned with power and independence, and diverged form the Drakun Clan, leaving the rest of the Drakun Clan to join the Cloud Village, which was a low blow for the clan. The other part of the clan, or the Coldblood Drakun, as they were known in the Drakun Clan that still held any human rights. The Coldblood faction of the Drakun Clan was twisted and disqusting. At some point during their prime, the members soon grew wary of one another, and turned on eachother, destroying one another, until only one member of the Coldblood faction remained, a twisted hellbringer known as Ketsueki. The Dragons deserted him, but one Dark Dragon, Omeus, was the only dragon summon he could now summon. The great, evil dragon worse a golden, horrifying mask, and weilded four arms, and six wings. Ketsueki was, however, forced into hiding by the Towe. He was the ninja who battled Keiteki before he lost the ability to summon most dragons.

The Drakun Clan suffered many losses in the Shinobi Wars, reduced to much smaller amounts of ninja, but still manages many clan members.

Special Info: At some point in a Drakun Clan member's early teens, he or she will be declared worthy, depending on their skill level and other aspects, to sign their summoning contract with Dragons. In their early adult life, if they're considered worth, which isn't always the case, they are allowed to activate their Kekkei Genkai, which allows them to grow powerful wings.

Requirements: You must have Drakun Clan blood in your veins in order to join the clan.

If a ninja acts in a selfish manner constantly, or in an otherwise dark manner, which is not permitted among clan members, since they must usually follow the Drakun Chivalry, clan members can have their Kekkei Genkai sealed away by the Clan Elders.
