Japan Or USA?

Okay, me and my friends are working on an essay and we need YOUR vote to help decide which is opinionatedly better from random people on the internet. Also, if you can/want to, to help get us an A, we need a sentence or two on why if you want to say. Please vote and/or say why you chose!

I chose Japan, since they gave us Naruto and other great shows!

Or at least, I think they did...

But America have knocked out a buch of good shows too... I'd vote for both, but I can't.

By the way, I watch to much T.V.

I say the US since they dubbed the japan shows so we can understand them lol.

I would have to say the US. After all it is my home and I do like it here, lol.

Though Japan does have its advances in technology and that does attract my interest but that is too little of a thing to go on.

I say Japan because I just like it there. Not that I'm a traitor to the US, but most of the great animes come from there, and I really like the culture and their language. The only reason I wouldn't move there is because of earthquakes. That would suck. Other than that, I think Japan is an amazing place if you want to experience or live in a different culture for the rest of your life.

Japan for one simple reason and word. Honor. These people are some of the most honrable in existance, something todays world, Ameraca especialy, lacks. They once held the most honorable people possible, the samurai. It is because of the Japaneese sense of honor that I select Japan over America.

Taku wtf you mean,americans have no honor is what your saying? If you are I say BS because without honor I doubt we would have a strong military and soliders willing to do things and save lives.

I think he means Honor among citizens...everyday people...The military is different they kinda force honor upon you. He is right though, there is no general respect and honor for one another here.

Okay, I voted for Japan. Asides from the fact that most of my favorite reads/watches come from Japan, their culture and language is also interesting. I would love to learn the language, too bad schools here don't offer it... And their culture is interesting too. I know I hate seafood, but I like their stories and beliefs about some things, along with Japan's history. In the US we don't learn much about Japan...(come to think of it... what do we learn about Japan in school, asides from Pearl Harbor??? It's always Europe, we've never really hit it home about Asia...) but from what I do know and have read, it sounds really interesting and cool. What with samurai and ninja and the whole feudal system.

Another biggie is that some (or rather most) of the mangas I've read from Japan have influenced, and been the base, of many of my stories (and not just their names being Japanese), but some of the people of Japan with their little "theories" about life, other creatures, etc.

And as Taku mentioned, honor, or in my opinion, respect. Sure you hear about the yakuza and all, but you have to admit that even within that there is a sense of respect. I find it interesting that they have managed to maintain that respect/honor for so long.

Along with Japan being all technologically advanced and all... (I love them for creating the Nintendo Wii! It rocks!)

Japan, seeing as I've never been there, but from all the video games i've played, anime i've seen, and manga i've read. I would like to live in Japan someday with all my fellow asians ^^ (because I don't think korea is as cool as japan.) :/

Ive been to everywhere in the U.S except for maine and north dakota. I would like to explore Japan!
