Arriving, Too Late...

[Munashii Hissori]

Munashii, ahead of the other members of the Shuugouteki, arrived at the village of Sunagakure. Taking in the damage without missing a step, he waited for his fellow members too arrive. It appeared that they had not arrived in time to intervine in the battle. It appeared that they haven't even arrived to get a look at the attackers. Munashii silently cursed in his mind. He was eager to get into the battle, he hadn't had a decent on in a long time. And now after seeing this...

He was looking forward to making whoever was responsible pay.

He turned, seeing the others had begin to arrive.

[Sparky]

Yami cursed loudly. The damage was evident.
"So we missed them this time, I was so looking forward to fighting them on this ground, the sand would have proved most useful in a battle. Next time..." Yami scooped up a handful of the sand and let it trickle through his fingers, "... Next time I may not have this advantage."

[Lee]

Damnit.... Lee cursed under his breath as he neared the sand village, seeing the damage done there. It was as if they had just missed the battle, and it was evident who won. The Order. They must have been some strong guys to have done damage like this, and Lee, knowing the Kazekage, knew that he also probably gave his life to protect the village. On top of the Kazekage's mansion he saw a pile of ashes. Lee had a bit of a bad feeling about that. Not only was he dissapointed in letting suna down, but he hadn't got to use his skills in some time now. He was afraid of becoming rusty, and training Ookami was really the last physical thing he did besides working out every now and then. he needed a battle, that was evident. In fact, The Order was probably attack somewhere else right now. The wind blew threw Lee's hair as he payed his respects to the desceased Kazekage.

"So, where to now?"

[Munashii Hissori]

Just as Lee asked the question, a crow flew out of the sky and landed on Munashii's shoulder. It tilted it's beak into his ear, speaking lowly in it's language. Munashii nodded, then frowned.

"It appears the Order are planning on attacking all the Villages, and Konoha is under attack right now. They are aided by Animae. It appears he has betrayed us", Munashii said quietly, dismissing the crow and watching it fly off. He turned to the enterance of Suna, about to set off in the direction of Konoha, when he heard a odd crackling noise. Looking in his pocket he found the watch thing Animae had given him making a noise that sounded like words.

"Munashii... The Order are currently attacking several villages. I will be joining them under false pretenses... inform the rest of the group of my movement and motives and stay away from Konoha. You must not blow my cover...

Frowning, Munashii turned to the others. "What now?"

[Sparky]

"Can any of us stand idly by while they attack another village? Animae says stay away and let it fall like Sunagakure has. A second kage will fall in battle. This will leave Konoha in the same position as Sunagakure and Kirigakure. 3 of the 5 kages will have died. I for one, cannot let this happen in good conscience. Unless we can have some sort of guarantee Animae has not betrayed us and seeks to somehow save Konoha from the Order, my vote is to travel there with all haste."

[Lee]

"By the time we get to Konaha, they will already be done there," Lee said with a bit of sadness. "The distance from Suna to Konaha is a bit of a long one, and the order members there either would have been defeated, or have succeeded. either way, we'll just end up doing the same thing as we did with suna,' lee said. Although he wanted to attack in Konaha, he knew so well that they would be to late to do anything. They only had one more chance for salvation, and Lee knew it. "We have to go to Kumogakure now, or else our unlucky chain of events will continue. We need to be ready for the battle before it comes, not after."

[Munashii Hissori]

Munashii nodded his head in agreement with Lee-sama. Although he himself was biased towards going back to Kumo since it was his home, it seemed like the most logical thing to do. Konoha, Suna... the next target would undoubtedly be Kumo. They would have to make full speed back into Lightning Country. If it all works out, they will arrive in time to help prepare the defences, although his father would have most likely already seen to that. Even coming in halfway through the battle would be fine.

Worse case scenerio... well, Munashii wasn't even going to think about that, not after what he had seen of Suna.

"I too propose to head to Kumogakure. Konoha has probably already been seen to by the ones who did this", Munashii said, gesturing the remains of Suna. "Kumo is the next most likely target".

[Ookami Tenma]

Ookami had been sat on a nearby building, listening and keeping an eye out for any Suna shinobi. After an attack of this magnitude the shinobi here would not take strangers in with open arms. The Gourd on his back felt odd. this was the first time he had carried it with him. His cloak fluttered in the wind.

As he heard the other members talking he dropped down from the building. Kumo eh? if we can get ahead of them then i said we take the advantage. The destruction here cannot be allowed to happen to any other village! Ookami said with a passion with his voice.

[Sparky]

"Then our target will be Kumogakure. A home advantage will no doubt prove beneficial for your talents Munashii-san. Let us hope we have chosen the right path to follow in this choice." Yami stood and brushed the remaining sand from his hands, the sadness clear in his voice.

[Munashii Hissori]

Munashii nodded. After a moments though, he raised the watch Animae gave him and pressed a button, speaking into it quietly should he be in the presence of their enemies.

"Animae, the others and I are heading for Kumogakure. What is your status?"

He looked at the others and shrugged. "If he really is part of the Order now, he's probably worked out where we were going to anyway".

[Kyo]

As Animae received the message from the watch, it began to make the sound of static across it's screen. Just like before, his words seemed to be created from the static and melded together to form his message.

"The protection of the large villages is essential yet you fail to see the whole picture..." A brief moment silence fell among them as only the static could be heard. "It would be logical and most fortunate should you send a few of you to the other small villages. Send each member to a different location so that should the enemy strike, you will be waiting in every location. Once enemy contact is made, I will let the others know of the individuals location so that they may receive help when needed..."

This plan only had one flaw yet it was the most logical one to make. With them spread apart, the probability of survival depended on each of their own strength and ability. Once contact would be made, it would be up to the individual to stall The Order and survive until help arrived.

The static soon faded into the watch leaving only the silence for their pleasure.
