Kirin stood over the stone and gazed at it without any emotion. She clenched something in her hand as she recalled what had happened. Kirin had seen Shin stab Itami with her own eyes and leave. Kirin tried her best to heal him while also carrying him to the hospital. Itami was taken into the back to be operated on. His condition was serious and critical. As Kirin had thought, Itami died later that night.

Kirin walked away from Itami's gravestone and continued to walk in silence for several minutes until she reached the training grounds. How could he... She clasped the necklace in her hands almost to the point of breaking it. As she loosened her hand, a single tear rolled down her cheek. Kirin brought the necklace up to her face and starred at her own name. She tied the necklace around her neck and whipped her eyes. As she clenched her fist, Kirin slammed her fist into the ground.

Blood trickled from her fists and into the soft dust that lay in the middle of the crater that had formed. Rising to her feet, her eyes began to glow a bright red. While activating her Ranmaru eyes, Kirin shot her vision out over the land peering at the world with her rage.

"Shin..."
