Oroeye Empty Oroeye

Post by Lee Tue Apr 21, 2009 8:30 pm

Name: Oroeye
Age: 300 years old
Looks: Oroeye FloatingEyeofDeathStencil

Summon ability: This demon acts as Sanosuke's slightly more intelligent half during battle. Oroeye and Sano have a telepathic connection, and Oroeye is able to find out information about it's opponent just by looking at them. The eye is also able to break two genjutsu during battle. This large floating eye has an unseen barrier around it, protecting it from direct attacks.

Let's put this in terms of points. Oroeye can use up six points ONLY.

E-Rank: 1
D-Rank: 2
C-Rank: 3
B-Rank: 4
A-Rank: 5
S-Rank: 6

So he could dispel one A rank and one E rank. Two C ranked, (etc..)

Weakness:The summon cannot do any physical damage. It actually can't even "touch" anybody. Also, if you were to blind it somehow, it would be rendered useless. (Light or shadow attacks)

This demon also has the ability to use a little genjutsu. He can create an illusion of imprisonment and sinking into the ground.

History of summon: Oroeye was created bye an experimental scientist. He figured out a way to read people's chakra, and predict ninja moves. He could also cancel genjutsu attacks. He believed that before he died, he should try to conceal all of his intelligence inside of his eye, and hide it away.

Accidentally, he transfered his soul into the eye, causing it to bloat up with intellegence. It grew tentacles out of the bottem and grew to about the size of a basketball. The eye floated out into the streets seeking help, but everybody ran away at the sight of the eye with tentacles.

The eye could not speak, but it wouldn't help him much if he could. No one would stay and listen to the talking eye. The eye tried to end his miserable life, but he could only float slowly. He had no mouth, no ears, no nose, only one huge eye, and a knowledge of artificial doujutsu, that noone else knew.

The eye set out on a journey to find someone he could share his finding with. As the eye enetered the sand village, he was almost instantly caught by the eye of the second Kazekage. The kage made a deal with the eye, which was: The eye will be granted the power to telepathically speak to only the Kazekage, if he serves under Sunagakure's leaders until the end of Sunagakure.

Oroeye was passed down in the sand village, from kage to kage, for over one hundred years. When the kage before Sanosuke died, he left the scroll that contained Oroeye next to a note that was left for Sano. Sano opened it and learned how to summon Oroeye. He occasionally lets other sand ninja borrow Oroeye for certain missions.

You say he can dispel off two genjutsu each battle. I think it might be easier if you say that he can dispel genjutsu with combined rank equivalent to that of S-rank. Like this:

E-Rank: 1
D-Rank: 2
C-Rank: 3
B-Rank: 4
A-Rank: 5
S-Rank: 6

So you could have him dispel, perhaps a B-Rank and a D-Rank, or two C-Ranks, or just one S-Rank. This way, you have to be careful with which you use his dispel on, because you may use it to dispel a D-Rank genjutsu, then get an A-Rank used on you, and you wouldnt be able to dispel it.

What do you think?

I would personally prefer to see the second idea implemented. Obviously some genjutsu are more powerful than others and would undoubtedly take more chakra to dispell. It is unreasonable to say that he can only dispel a certain amount of jutsu reguardless of rank. By giving the varying degrees and how many you can dispell based on what rank the jutsu is, then it seems to be more practical. Actually, if you could implement some kind of chart, combining both of these ideas that Koga came up with, it would be all the more better. The choice is yours though Lee, implement one of these three strategies into the template and we shall go from there. Thank you Koga, as always, I apreciate your insight.

I think i'll just use this idea Koga, if that's okay with you, (the chart one). TY for that.

Alrighty then.

The only other thing is that you say hes protected from "direct" attacks. What would be considered an indirect attack, capable of hitting him?

Attacks that produce a lot of light, blinding him, would render him paralyzed. And shadow techniques, like, the nara clan and such, would do the same thing.
