Description: Users of Shadow element are able to manipulate shadows and visibility. The Shikatano Shadow element is used as an offensive element; turning shadows into chakra that can be used for elemental attacks instead of the classic example of the Nara clan's Shadow Possesion techniques. However, the Shikatano shadow element can not break down into Water and Wind chakra, but instead dark energy and Fire element. This allows for the members of the clan to use extra fire chakra in their jutsu to create Darkfire techniques.
Weaknesses: Light and Water elements.
